The Organisational Structure
of the ULMA Group identifies different levels:
Cooperatives. These are the legal entities that constitute
the ULMA Group, grassroots
Cooperatives, which in the cases of ULMA
C y E S. Coop. and ULMA Manutención
S. Coop. are each divided into separate Businesses.
Businesses. These comprise the business structure per
se of the ULMA Group. Each
one of the Businesses is identified by a
separate company; they enjoy management autonomy
and submit their own balance sheets and operating
statements.
Strategic Business Unit. The term
Strategic Business Unit is understood to
mean the operational
Unit that encompasses the different products
and/or services that have a particular set
of customers and compete against a defined
group of competitors. It is the level where
the Business Strategy is defined.
Product
Lines. This is an internal organisational
unit that groups products by their nature,
largely in terms of application and/or technology
and/or process. |
