Organisational Model
ULMA is a business outfit consisting of 8 strategic Business Units, with a high degree of consolidation, within a common strategic framework and agreed General Policies.

The overall Organisational Model of the ULMA Group responds to the competitive challenges embraced by each one of the Group’s different Businesses. It requires great agility and organisational decentralisation both in strategy and in the decision-making processes.

The Organisational Model is committed to decentralisation and self-management, to self-regulating models and to horizontal structures. This approach, linked to the existing diversity of Businesses in the ULMA Group and the scarce product-market synergy existing amongst them, gives rise to an organisational structure that is characterised by the extensive autonomy of the Businesses (Strategy, Management, etc.). The Group is focused on those functions and services that further the activities for which economies of scale and/or internal cohesion are important and may add value.
